The new Partagás Línea Maestra, the most Premium line within the brand, has been launched in the UK and it is available from the specialised franchise network La Casa del Habano, Havana Cigar Specialists and a reduced number of hotels, terraces and private clubs.

To introduce these Habanos from the Partagas Linea Maestra, Hunters & Frankau, exclusive distributor of Habanos in Great Britain  invited their Masters of Havana Cigars to a pre-launch sampling at the luxury The Emory Hotel in  London.

The new Partagás Línea Maestra received a great welcome from the UK’s Masters of Havana Cigars, considered among the most knowledgeable sommeliers and cigar retailers in the country about the Habanos’ world, who were happy to share their experiences on the new Línea.

Discussing the size Rito, one of the three that compose the Linea Maestra, one of the Masters said:

“The San Luis seco sings through with an additional aromatic edge to the traditional Partagas flavour. …a very smooth and refined premium smoke’’, while another opined “I would pair this cigar with a Parmesan fat washed reposado tequila with Ancho Reyes chilli liqueur on the rocks to add sweetness, tapped with soda to open it up and garnished with orange twist and pink peppercorns’’.

The size Maestro also received positive comments from the Masters:

“From the beginning very aromatic and sweet cigar with some mineral tones. The complexity increases through the second third, and it reminds me of the Partagas Serie P No2. In the last third the strength builds up and shows a bit of the Partaga’s spiciness signature. Amazing aroma. Very balanced smoke.”

Finally, the size Origen offered the following feelings:

“Develops into a Medium to full-strength Habano, increasing the flavour intensity throughout the journey. An incredibly well-balanced cigar with sweet and spicy notes’’, and “Aromatic, well-balanced and perfectly constructed. Very appropriate to combine with a glass of Pol Roger Sir Winston Cuvee.”

The new Linea Maestra joins the rest of the sizes present on the market that for more than a century have made the Partagas brand one of the most appreciated in the United Kingdom.
